A prepaid Visa card online: what the phrase actually means
A prepaid Visa spends a balance you loaded. A bank card and a crypto card differ. RedotPay names Visa on two programmes, after KYC.
Short answer
A prepaid Visa card spends a balance you loaded. It is not a credit line, and “online” does not mean “no checks”. Bank prepaid cards and crypto cards are different products. RedotPay’s terms name Visa for the Hong Kong and Singapore programmes. Newer pages say major card networks. Issuance is 10 USD virtual or 100 USD physical, after identity checks. A merchant can still block a prepaid or crypto-linked card. Checked on 24 October 2026.
On this page
“Prepaid Visa card online” is one of the broadest card searches there is. In Arabic it often means a bank card from Al Rajhi, Riyad Bank, or a similar issuer. In English it often means “instant”, “free”, or “no verification”. Those are not the same product as a crypto card, and this page will not pretend they are.
A prepaid card spends money you already loaded. You are not borrowing. That part is true of a bank prepaid Visa and of a crypto card that pays from a deposited balance. The issuer, the checks, and the fees are not the same.

Two products people mix up
A bank prepaid Visa. You buy or open it at a bank or a prepaid programme in your country. You reload it in local currency. The fee table is on that bank’s site. We are not publishing Al Rajhi, Banque Misr, or any other bank’s prices, because we did not re-read those tables for this page. If that is the card you want, stop here and open the bank’s page.
A crypto card that can look like a prepaid card at checkout. You deposit crypto. The merchant sees a card payment. RedotPay is one of these. The card terms name a Hong Kong programme (Visa) and a Singapore programme (Visa). The Singapore product page says that card is issued by Xfers Pte Ltd under a Visa Worldwide licence. Which programme you get depends on residence. The newer where-to-use article (4 September 2026) says major card networks and 130 million+ merchants. We do not describe the card as Mastercard, and we do not promise your card will show a Visa logo until the app does.
What RedotPay charges to issue it
| Card | What it is for | Issuance we checked |
|---|---|---|
| Virtual | Online payments, and wallets if they accept it | 10 USD once |
| Physical | In-store plastic and ATM cash | 100 USD once |
The 5 USD sign-up reward cannot pay either fee. Standard mail is marked waived on the limitations chart, and DHL is calculated at checkout. Sources are on the fees guide. The virtual card is the usual start for online payments. See the virtual card guide.
Why a prepaid card gets declined
Some merchants block prepaid cards. We did not find a published cause for that on the RedotPay pages we read, and this guide does not treat chargebacks or stolen numbers as the reason. RedotPay’s where-to-use page says some merchants block prepaid or crypto-linked cards. A decline is not proof the card is fake. It is proof that merchant said no.
We will not list shops that “work”. The merchant guide explains why a customer anecdote is not a guarantee.
Checks that come before the card number
RedotPay requires identity verification. The identity article (26 July 2026) names Sumsub and lists name, date of birth, and a passport, national ID, or driver’s licence, plus whatever else the app asks for. “Prepaid Visa online no verification” is not this product. See crypto card no KYC.
US residents are ineligible for a card. Other countries are on the block lists. A country that is not named is not an approval. Read the country guide before you pay 10 USD.
If you are choosing among crypto cards rather than bank prepaid cards, the decision checklist is best crypto card. Bybit, Crypto.com, and Wirex fees stay on their sites.
Use a bank’s prepaid Visa when you want local currency and that bank’s rules. Use a crypto card when the money you already hold is crypto and the issuer will actually open the account.
