RedotPay limits and the fees on the limitations chart
RedotPay spend caps from the official chart: 100,000 USD per transaction, 1,000,000 USD a day, ATM caps, and 0.5 USD after three declined transactions.
Short answer
The limitations chart (page updated 24 July 2026) shows 100,000 USD per transaction and 1,000,000 USD a day in both columns. The limits table has no date of its own. The “effective 1 December 2025” line belongs to the fees table on the same chart. ATM caps differ: 3,750 USD or 23,000 HKD a day, and 50,000 USD or 75,000 HKD a month, plus a note that some USD cards are 3,000 a day and 10,000 a month. You can set a lower limit under Card → Limit. Checked on 24 October 2026.
On this page
“RedotPay limit per day” is answered by a chart image, not by a sentence in the help article. The page RedotPay Card Limitations & Fees was updated on 24 July 2026. The chart file on that page is dated 7 July 2026 in its URL. We read the image on 24 October 2026. The article text above the image does not repeat the numbers. If RedotPay replaces the image, these figures move with it. The amount in your app still wins for your account.
Spend caps on the chart
The limits table has no date of its own. The chart page was updated on 24 July 2026. The line “Effective from 1 December 2025” on the image belongs to the fees table above it, not to these caps. Both value columns show the same spend caps:
| Line on the chart | Figure we read |
|---|---|
| Per transaction | 100,000 USD |
| Daily limit | 1,000,000 USD |
| Deposit fee | Free |
| Balance limit | Unlimited |
The column headers are card-programme labels. The spend numbers under them match, so this page does not invent a difference between them. A header that is hard to read is not a reason to split 100,000 into two products.
How do I set my RedotPay card limit? (24 July 2026) is the control you have: Card → Limit → a per-transaction limit and a daily spending limit. The checkout-failure article says a payment can fail because of that self-set limit. Setting 50 USD and then trying to pay 60 USD is a decline you created. The company’s chart is the ceiling described above, not a promise that every account is left at 1,000,000 USD.
ATM caps, separate from the 2% fee
The same image, in the limits table (no date of its own; the chart page was updated on 24 July 2026):
| Line | What the chart shows |
|---|---|
| Withdrawals | 3 a day and 30 a month, in both columns |
| Daily ATM | 23,000 HKD and 3,750 USD |
| Monthly ATM | 75,000 HKD and 50,000 USD |
| Note | For USD cards, in some countries and regions, daily limits are 3,000 USD and monthly limits are 10,000 USD. Actual cash withdrawal amounts apply. |
The 2% then 3% USD ATM fee, and the 10,000 USD threshold inside that fee, are on the ATM help page. They are the price of a withdrawal, not this cap. Do not add them together into a new number. Fee steps are in the ATM guide. Cash needs the physical card, and some addresses never receive one. Timing is in the delivery guide.
Decline and small-authorization lines on the fees table
These lines sit in the fees table. The chart marks that fees table effective from 1 December 2025. They are not part of the limits table, which has no date of its own.
| Line | What the chart shows |
|---|---|
| Declined transaction fee | Waived for the first 3 declined transactions per card each month, then 0.5 USD. Examples on the chart: insufficient balance, frozen card, lost card, incorrect card information. The list says it is not exhaustive. |
| Small authorization | Waived for the first 5 transactions per card each month that are 1.00 USD or less, then 0.2 USD. |
| Account maintenance | Waived, including monthly and annual fees. This matches the inactivity article. It is not a waiver of Pro. |
A different page says a truly declined transaction is not charged, and a pending hold is usually released in 2 to 5 days. That is the purchase, not this 0.5 USD line. Both are quoted in the declined-payment guide.
Limits this chart does not set
- Another bank’s card, if you move money onto RedotPay that way. Is there a limit on card transfers to RedotPay? (23 July 2026) says those limits are usually the bank’s or the card provider’s.
- Crypto withdrawal minimums. The on-chain withdraw article says the balance must be above the minimum shown for that withdrawal. It does not print one number for every asset. Steps are in the withdrawal guide.
- Country blocks. A high cap does not issue a card where issuance is blocked. See the country guide.
A limit check before a non-dollar checkout
The chart’s 1,000,000 USD daily line and 100,000 USD per payment are the company caps in both columns, not a promise that your account is left there. Card then Limit can set a lower cap, and a payment over that cap fails even when it is under the chart. The 1.2% non-default-currency line and the 1% crypto-conversion line sit in section 2 of the same chart, page updated 24 July 2026. They are transaction fees, not these caps.
ATM cash is narrower: 3 withdrawals a day and 30 a month, 3,750 USD or 23,000 HKD a day, and 50,000 USD or 75,000 HKD a month, with a note that some USD cards are 3,000 USD a day and 10,000 USD a month. The 2% then 3% ATM fee is a different page. A high cap does not issue a card where the issuance list blocks you. US residents are on that block and are not the audience of this guide.
| Check | What is published |
|---|---|
| Per payment | 100,000 USD in both columns |
| Daily spend | 1,000,000 USD |
| ATM count | 3 a day, 30 a month |
| Your own cap | Card, then Limit |
Issuance, ATM percentages, the merchant 1.5% list, and Pro are on the fees page. This page is only the chart’s caps and the two small fees that chart prints.
