A RedotPay referral code is optional, and it is easy to miss. The help center’s rule is short: enter it while you create the account. After that, the field is gone. This guide is the signup path, the code on this site, and the reward people mix up with the code.

Referral code

yj8cq

A 5 USD spending reward for new accounts. It is not tied to the referral code. Spending credit for 30 days after you receive it. It cannot pay card issuance or replacement fees.

  1. The signup button opens RedotPay’s invite page. If the app still asks for a code, paste it before you finish creating the account.
  2. On the registration screen, tap Referral Code (Optional) and enter the code.
  3. The code cannot be added after the account exists.

Code steps from RedotPay Help Center

RedotPay does not issue a card to US residents, and the app does not open if you are located in the United States. In any other country, check the published lists and the app. A missing name is not approval. Country lists

The steps come from How do I use a referral code? (page date 26 July 2026). On the registration screen, tap Referral Code (Optional) and type the code. The English invite URL this site uses already includes referralId=yj8cq. If the app still shows an empty field, fill it before you finish. Do not create the account and hope support can attach it later. The article says that does not work.

Our button does not put the RedotPay URL in the page. It goes to /go/redotpay-en, which redirects to that invite. That is a referral link. The disclosure is on the disclosure page. You do not pay an extra fee for using it.

What a new user gets

How do I use my 5 USDⓈ sign-up reward? (26 July 2026) describes a 5 USD spending credit for new users:

  • It is for spending after the card is active.
  • It lasts 30 days from the time you receive it.
  • It cannot pay card issuance or replacement fees.
  • Check it in the app under USDⓈ.

RedotPay does not describe this reward as something a referral code unlocks. We show the code and the reward in the same box so you can copy the code, and the sentence next to it says they are separate. The fees guide has the 10 USD and 100 USD issuance lines with their sources.

Verification, without invented timelines

Issuing a card requires identity verification. The pages we read do not publish a single processing time, and they do not publish one document list for every country. The app shows what it will accept for your case. If a request is rejected, fix the photo or the document the app names. We will not quote a success rate we have not measured.

US residents cannot be issued a card, people located in the United States cannot open the app, and US citizens cannot finish KYC. The lists are in the country guide. Paying an issuance fee before the app shows the card as available is how people lose the 10 USD or the 100 USD.

After the account exists

  1. Use the security options in the app before you deposit.
  2. Deposit on the network the Deposit screen shows. The help center also publishes a minimums table, including 1.00 USDT. Confirm the row in the app. See how to top up.
  3. Issue the virtual card if online spending is enough. Order plastic only if you need in-store plastic or an ATM, and only if your address is not on the delivery block list.

If the search was for a card with no identity check, the answer is in crypto card no KYC. RedotPay still requires this verification.

“Promo code” is a different box

People search for a RedotPay promo code. The code on this page, yj8cq, is a referral code for signup. How do I use a referral code? (26 July 2026) is about that field. It cannot be added after the account exists.

A promo code is a separate control on Send. How do I use a promo code?, checked on 25 October 2026, says it reduces the transfer fee only, up to 20 USD, and the fee can drop to 0. It does not change the amount you send. You can use someone else’s code on your first send. You cannot use your own. Each code works once unless the offer on the screen says otherwise. yj8cq is not that promo code.

The account is on RedotPay. PayCards cannot see it, reset it, or add a code to it.

FAQ

What is the RedotPay referral code on this site?
yj8cq. It is the code in the invite link this site uses. Enter it during registration if the link does not apply it for you.
Can I add a referral code after I sign up?
No. RedotPay’s help article says you tap Referral Code (Optional) on the registration or login screen and enter it while you create the account. It cannot be added once the account exists. Page date 26 July 2026. We re-checked that page on 24 October 2026.
Does the code waive the 10 USD card fee?
No. The virtual card is 10 USD once. The 5 USD sign-up reward is spending credit, valid 30 days from receipt, and it cannot pay card fees. RedotPay describes it as a reward for new users, not as a discount attached to a code.
How long does KYC take?
The help pages we checked do not publish one review time or one document list for every country. Wait for the app. Do not pay an outside person who offers to speed it up.
