Using RedotPay for Netflix, ChatGPT, Google Play, and AliExpress

Can I pay Netflix with RedotPay? RedotPay does not publish a yes. The 21 July 2026 where-to-use page says some users reported that Netflix worked and tells you to try it yourself. The same page says customer feedback listed ChatGPT-4, Spotify, OpenAI, and Wise as incompatible. The 4 September 2026 page does not name Netflix, and it says some merchants block prepaid or crypto-linked cards. A saved Netflix charge can still fail if the card is frozen or the balance does not cover the price. This guide does not fill the gaps with a compatibility list from a third-party blog.

The two “where can I use it” pages

They do not say the same thing, and both are still on the help center.

Where can I use my RedotPay card? (4 September 2026) says the card is accepted at 130 million+ merchants, online where major networks are accepted, in person, and with the physical card at ATMs on major networks. Some merchants block prepaid or crypto-linked cards. The card is not for sanctioned places or persons. This page does not name Netflix, ChatGPT, Spotify, or Wise.

The older page, Where can the RedotPay card be used? (21 July 2026; the English URL redirected to the same article, and the French help page repeats the list), says acceptance also depends on the billing-address region and on merchant rules. It then reports customer feedback:

• Platforms described as incompatible: ChatGPT-4, Spotify, OpenAI, and Wise.
• Some users reported Netflix worked. The page tells you to try it yourself.
• Cards cannot be used to buy cryptocurrency.

“Customer feedback” is not “we tested this on 24 October 2026,” and it is not “it will fail for you.” The newer page’s choice not to repeat the names is also not a retraction we can prove. If you need ChatGPT or Spotify, treat the 21 July list as a warning, pay a small test only if you accept a decline, and read the declined-payment guide before you retry. Saved subscriptions keep charging. Cancel them on the merchant site if the card will not be funded. How do I cancel a subscription with a merchant? (23 July 2026) says RedotPay cannot cancel it.

The avoid-declines page (8 October 2026) names Netflix, Spotify, iCloud, cloud storage, and AI tools as merchants that keep charging a saved card. That is a warning about balance and a frozen card, not a statement that those merchants accept RedotPay.

AliExpress

Why is my payment failing on AliExpress? (23 July 2026) says the usual cause is AliExpress security checks, not the card. Wait and retry. Test another website. Contact AliExpress. If they ask for documents, those documents go to AliExpress.

A decline that appears only on AliExpress fits the checkout article’s rule: if another merchant works, the issue is that merchant.

Google Play and the App Store

Why am I seeing error OR-HDT-16 on Google Play? (23 July 2026) says this is a Google Play error, not a RedotPay decline. Retry after 48 hours, or contact Google Play.

We did not find an official RedotPay page that names the Apple App Store. Do not borrow a yes or a no from a forum. The virtual card can be linked to Apple Pay where the wallet accepts it. That is the payments article (21 July 2026), and the steps are in the Apple Pay guide. A wallet link is not an App Store promise.

Game credits

Why was my RedotPay card declined when buying game credits? (24 July 2026) says some platforms do not accept this type of card for in-game purchases. Check the decline reason in the app. Use a method the platform supports.

The page does not name Steam. We will not add Steam. The merchant-fee list that includes Free Fire, PUBG Mobile, Brawl Stars, and eFootball is a 1.5% fee list, not a compatibility list. It is on the fees page. Facebook Ads is on that list. Google Ads is not.

What still has to be true before a merchant can say yes

• The account passed the country checks. A merchant page cannot override a block list. See the country guide.
• The balance covers the charge plus fees. Exactly the sticker price can fail.
• The card is active, and online payments are enabled.
• You are under the limit in the app and under the chart caps in the limits guide.
• You are not using the card to buy cryptocurrency. The 21 July page forbids that.
• You are not sending the card through Wise, Revolut, Skrill, bKash, or URPAY. The card does not support those cash transfers (27 July 2026). Wise is also on the 21 July feedback list.

Spending the balance, without naming a shop, is how to spend USDT.

If the payment fails, start with the declined-payment checks. If it succeeds, compare the debit in the app with the merchant’s price. The 1% and 1.2% rates are general transaction fees in section 2 of the limitations chart. The fees guide quotes them.
