How to convert USDT to cash, and what is not cash

USDT becomes cash at an ATM with a physical card, or by selling it for fiat. RedotPay’s virtual card does not withdraw. USDs cannot go to a bank.

Published 4 min read

Short answer

Cash means notes or a bank balance you can withdraw as notes. RedotPay’s virtual card does not withdraw. The physical card can, at ATMs on major networks, with RedotPay’s fee plus the operator’s fee. USDs in the app cannot be sent to an external wallet or a bank. A local cash app in a search suggestion is not a RedotPay feature we found. Checked on 24 October 2026.

“Convert USDT to cash” sounds like one button. It is three different outcomes, and only one of them is notes in your hand.

Checked on 24 October 2026. Figures below are RedotPay’s. An exchange or a bank has its own table. Open that table. We are not copying it.

Cash, a bank balance, and crypto that only feels like cash

Outcome What you actually receive On RedotPay
Notes ATM cash Physical card only. The virtual card cannot withdraw.
Bank balance Fiat in a bank account EUR or GBP to a linked account in the same currency. USDs cannot go to a bank.
Still crypto USDT in another wallet An on-chain withdrawal. The deposit and withdraw articles use networks the app shows. This is not cash.
Spending, not cash A card payment in a shop Possible where the network is accepted. See how to spend USDT.

Search suggestions add a city, Coinbase, Binance, Trust Wallet, or a local wallet such as Vodafone Cash. RedotPay’s card cannot cash-transfer to bKash, Revolut, Skrill, URPAY, or Wise (27 July 2026). We did not find Vodafone Cash, Sham Cash, or Zain Cash on the pages we read. Those are not a hidden RedotPay menu.

The ATM path

Can I withdraw cash from an ATM, and are there any fees? (27 July 2026) is about the physical card, at ATMs that support major card networks.

  • USD card: 2% up to 10,000 USD in a month, then 3% above that.
  • HKD card: 2%.
  • A transaction in another currency: 1.2%, a general transaction fee in section 2 of the limitations chart.
  • Crypto conversion: 1%. The page does not say this line is only for ATM withdrawals.
  • The ATM operator’s fee is separate. RedotPay does not waive it.
  • Annual Pro waives RedotPay’s own ATM fees on up to 1,000 USD a month. The monthly plan does not. The operator’s fee remains.

The limitations chart, on a page updated 24 July 2026, shows ATM caps of 3 withdrawals a day and 30 a month, a daily cap of 3,750 USD or 23,000 HKD, and a monthly cap of 50,000 USD or 75,000 HKD. A footnote says some USD cards are 3,000 USD a day and 10,000 USD a month. The app can show a lower limit. The full table is in the limits guide and the fee lines are in the ATM guide.

Ordering the plastic is 100 USD once. Production is usually 10–15 business days, then delivery. Standard mail is marked waived and DHL is calculated at checkout. If the address cannot receive the card, do not pay the 100 USD for an ATM plan. See delivery.

The bank path, which is not “USDT to my bank”

Withdrawing USDs (28 July 2026) says USDs cannot be withdrawn to an external wallet or a bank. EUR and GBP bank withdrawals (30 July 2026) describe a payout to a linked account in that same currency. Partner bank fees are a separate page. The bank and PayPal guide keeps those limits in one place.

An on-chain withdrawal of USDT is crypto moving to a wallet. It can be the right step if you will sell somewhere else. It is not cash.

P2P inside RedotPay is a user marketplace. Who can trade (24 July 2026) says anyone who finished identity verification can trade, posting ads needs advertiser status, and availability may vary by region. We did not find a P2P fee. It is not a cash desk.

Before you chase a rate

You still need an account RedotPay will open, and identity verification. US residents are ineligible for a card. A country missing from the lists is not an approval. See the country guide and crypto card no KYC.

Selling USDT on an exchange you already use can be simpler when the card cannot be delivered. That exchange’s fee page is the price. We are not reprinting Coinbase, Binance, or Kraken rates.

If you need notes, price the physical card, the ATM fee, and the operator’s fee before you order. If you need to pay a website, you may not need cash at all. The spending guide is the cheaper question.

FAQ

Can I withdraw USDT as cash from the virtual card?
No. The virtual card is for online payments and wallet linking. ATM cash uses the physical card. Issuance of that card is 100 USD once.
Can RedotPay send my USDT to my bank?
Not as a general USD withdrawal. The help page says USDs cannot leave to an external wallet or a bank. EUR or GBP can be withdrawn to a linked bank account in that same currency. An on-chain withdrawal, for example USDT on a network the app offers, is crypto arriving in a wallet, not cash.
What does the ATM cost?
On the ATM page dated 27 July 2026: a USD card is 2% up to 10,000 USD a month, then 3% on the amount above that. An HKD card is 2%. Another currency is 1.2% and crypto conversion is 1%. Those two rates are general transaction fees in section 2 of the limitations chart, not ATM-only lines. The machine’s own fee is extra. The annual Pro plan waives RedotPay’s ATM fee on up to 1,000 USD a month, not the operator’s fee. The monthly plan does not.
Is there a USDT-to-cash desk in my city?
RedotPay does not publish a cash desk, a Vodafone Cash payout, a Sham Cash payout, or a Zain Cash payout. P2P inside the app is a marketplace between users, and availability may vary by region. We did not find a P2P commission on the pages we read. Meeting a stranger for cash is not a step in this guide.
